Duncan Watson, was a leading figure in the Falkland Defence Force during both world wars. He was a keen shot, representing the Falkland Islands at Bisley, and he was also a very active supporter of horse racing on the island. His first wife died in 1934, without issue.

Duncan married Mary Eleanor HILL [11019] [MRIN: 3663], daughter of Robert HILL [11017] and Eleanor Martha Maria SLOWGROVE [11018], in Apr 1937 in Falkland Is. (Mary Eleanor HILL [11019] was born in 1903 in Swindon WIL, died on 14 Apr 1958 in Falkland Is. and was buried in Falkland Is..)
