Sir Robert Peyton died August 1, 1550

He was a Groom of the Privy Chamber to Henry VIII. and was in attendance on the King when he went in state to meet Anne of Cleves at Greenwich in 1539. The Hospital (Peyton's Hospital) founded by Lady Frances in 1580 still exists.

Robert married Frances HASILDEN [15684] [MRIN: 5571], daughter of Francis HASILDEN of Guilden Morden Cam [15690] and Elizabeth CALTHORPE [15686], in Jan 1516. (Frances HASILDEN [15684] died on 18 Mar 1581-1582 and was buried in Iselham CAM.)
