Precis of Will of James FYNN of Baylham 1727
Occupation - Yeoman
"Imprimis I give to my dutyfull and only daughter Mary Fynn all my messuages lands and tenements whatsoever lying and being in burrom [possibly phonetic spelling of Barham, a neighbouring parish] in this county of Suffolk aforesaid now in the tennonts and occupation of Honnary Lufe and the widow bruse…"
"and for want of such heirs I give and bequeath it to my kinsman James Fynn the son of Abraham Fynn now living with me and belonging to Baylham yeoman in the said county"
"Item I further I give to my only daughter Mary Fynn above mentioned my house and yard or yards orchard or orchards what soever belonging to the house that is lawfull at Needham Market in the said county of Suffolk aforesaid now in the tennonts and occupation of Thomas Baggly Blacksmith and Thomas Gormer"
"… for want of such heirs I give and bequeath it to Abraham Fynn the son of Abraham of Baylham"
"Item I give and bequeath to James Fynn of Baylham my kinsman in the county of Suffolk yeoman the sum of five pounds when he shall come to the full age of one and twenty years old…"

He goes on to state that any residue of monies left over after all his debts and funeral costs have been met, should go to his daughter Mary Fynn, and he finally names his executor as "Stephen [looks like] Twait of Baylham my servant man my sole executor…"
