Dear cousin Edward
I want to thank you very much indeed for the copy of the Torlesse pedigree that you have so kindly sent me and which I much value.
I want like to supply to you if I may the missing details in my own immediate family.
For instance:
My father, Henry Holland Torlesse died on December 25, 1911 \endash was born on July 17, 1858.
My mother was born Mar 14, 1866 married December 6, 1888 died October 22, 1915.
My sister May Holland Torlesse born September 21, 1889 died February 1, 1922.
I was born June 3rd 1903 married on June 5th, 1922 and I have a second name Henrietta.
I venture to give you these . . . . . as you may be glad to have them. Such a magnificent piece of work must give you enormous satisfaction and I am sure we are all very much indebted to you for it.
I hope to come south shortly and if I visit Cambridge I will hope to see, but my plans are uncertain and we have definitely settled up here now.
