WAKEFIELD SETTLED ESTATE IN NEW ZEALAND.
UNDERSTANDING that attempts are being made to sell certain portions of the above Estate, We hereby caution the public against purchasing same, as no title can be given the property being offered for sale without our consent, although vested in us by Deed of Settlement, executed by Felix Wakefield in 1851.

IN the MATTER of the PATENT ACT, 1S77.- NOTICE is hereby given that MURAT WAKEFIELD, Currency Creek, S.A., Grazier, has APPLIED for a PATENT for Improvements in the Construction of Churns, and that the Specification of such Invention may be Inspected at the Patent Office, Adelaide. FRANCIS SNOW, Licenced Patent Agent, Victoria Buildings, Grenfell street.

Mr. Murat Wakefield, an old resident in the Goolwa district, and brother to the late Mr. S. R. Wakefield, died suddenly on Saturday night. He was sitting reading the paper, when some of the members of his family heard a strange cough, and on going into the room found he had expired. The deceased has left a widow, one son, and three daughters. For many years he represented the Goolwa Ward in the Port Elliot District Council, and was highly respected.
