John came to Sth Australia several years after his brother Samuel.

St Jude's Cemetery, where John Snr d 1900, his wife Mary Ann Kohfer d 1888 and son William Leonard d 1888 are buried.

bullet  Research Notes:

Mason St Allot 123, the site of the first Govt-built Public School in Port Elliot & where the Trigg children were educated. John Snr purchased it in 1879 and Mary Ann and her husband J H T F Kohler lined here for a short time. Property passed to Ann who sold in 1902.

Pt Sect 88. John senr bought 7 acres in 1850's for £70. He sold all land in 1900 except a very small triangular plot where he had buried his two infant sons.

Waterport Rd, Pt Sect 33 Allot with house purchased. by John Snr c1857.
