1. Baron de Cabrol (Fred) and his wife Daisy: Their scrapbooks published, 2016. Sortie aux éditions Flammarion de ce luxueux album < Les scrapbooks du Baron de Cabrol et la Cafe Society > sous la plume de Thierry Coudert.
Daisy et Fred de Cabrol furent l'un des couples les plus en vue de la haute société internationale du XXème siècle. Ils étaient proches des Windsor ou encore de la comtesse de Paris.
Ils allaient à tous les bals, toutes les parties, toutes les grandes chasses. Ils étaient photographiés par Cecil Beaton et fréquentaient la maharané de Kapurthala.
Tout ce beau monde se retrouve au fil des scrapbooks tenus avec esprit par le baron de Cabrol de 1938 à 1960. Un âge d'or de l'élégance et d'un certain monde. Vendu 85 euros, voilà un parfait cadeau de Noël.


Release to Flammarion Editions of this luxurious album "The scrapbooks of Baron de Cabrol and Cafe Society" under the pen of Thierry Coudert. Daisy and Fred de Cabrol were one of the most prominent couples in the twentieth-century international society. They were near the Windsor or the Countess of Paris. They went to all the balls, all the parties, all the big hunts. They were photographed by Cecil Beaton and frequented the Maharani of Kapurthala. All this beautiful world is found in the scrapbooks held with spirit by the Baron de Cabrol from 1938 to 1960. A golden age of elegance and a certain world. Sold 85 euros, this is a perfect Christmas present.
