Anne (Plaxton) Nind 1932-1984 Cecil's eldest daughter married Anthony Nind (1926-2000) in 1953 shortly after he was ordained. He had studied at Balliol and then Cuddesdon, became a curate in Devizes where her father was vicar, and also at Wareham, before moving out to join the Church of England congregation in Hong Kong. He served in Brazil, in Vienna, Switzerland as Archdeacon and as Dean of Gibraltar. He was awarded an MBE for his services to the church community overseas. They had two daughters.
