Henry Eardley. Eardley-Wilmot or Wilmot. Adm. at CLARE, Oct. 7, 1874. [6th] s. of Edward Revell Eardley (1836), clerk, Hon. Canon of Worcester. B. Mar. 3, 1854. School, Tonbridge. Matric. 1874. Entered the Army; gazetted to the 40th Foot, 1876, but joined the Madras Staff Corps (4th Native Infantry). Served in the Afghan War, in the Khyber Pass, etc. Adjutant, 2nd Madras Cavalry; Capt., 1889; Squadron Commander, 2nd Madras Lancers; Major; retired, 1927. Died Feb. 18, 1933. Brother of the above. (Tonbridge Sch. Reg.; Burke, P. and B.) Died: 18 Feb 1933.
