Cork, and has issue. This family first settled in Ireland temp. James I. Rathmore near Kinsale, co. Cork.
A family of German extract who came to Ireland in the reign of James I. Originally settled in county Kilkenny but moved to county Cork in the early 18th century. Marmaduke Cramer was the owner of over 1400 acres in county Cork in the 1870s. He was among the principal lessors in the parish of Ringcurran at the time of Griffith's Valuation.
