1. Miss Fanny 'who could as well recommend' Frederick Strange, was letter writer William Williamson's sister-in-law Frances Glascott. When William Williamson married Sarah Glascott in 1843, one of the witnesses was John Nicolson (Plate 4).

William married Sarah Christina GLASCOTT [23781] [MRIN: 8540], daughter of Lieut William GLASCOTT [23779] and Sarah CRAMER [23778], on 28 Mar 1843 in Launceston Tasmania. (Sarah Christina GLASCOTT [23781] was born on 23 Dec 1818 in Swansea Glamorgan WLS, baptised on 10 Feb 1819 in St Mary Swansea WLS and died on 19 Jan 1848 in Launceston Tasmania.)
