No mention of her or her name in William Allstons Will.
In a pedigree recorded in the Bedfordshire Visitation William Alston is said to have married Dorothy daughter and coheir of Henry Hampstead of Halstead co Essex. Cresswell in Alstonia concludes this incorrect based on the inquisition postmortem of Thomas Alston Jnr of Edwardstone (nephew of William) by its recitation of the inheritence by the deceased Thomas from his mother Dorothy Homestead of the moeity (half) of the Rectory and Vicarage of Gt Maplestead.
