Alice first married John Hayward and had two known children.

Alice married secondly Robert Cranford who was deceased by 1479. Robert had Thomas Cranford and Robert Cranford by a previous marriage. Both these sons showed up in the records on a regular basis. After husband Robert's death, Alice, son John, and John Livermore Sr. purchased 3 acres of land called Brasetys Field from Thomas Cranford and others on 4 Sep 1473.[1]
Alice appeared frequently in the records. She and son John were granted a messuage and garden on the highway from Wethersfield to Braintree from Thomas Smith Sr. and wife Katherine on 13 Dec 1478.[2] Alice and son John Hayward quitclaimed a messuage and property called Lesepightell in Wethersfield to Alice's stepson Robert Cranford on 30 Sep 1479.[3] Also on 30 Sep 1479, Alice, son John, John Livermore, and others gave a quitclaim deed to stepson Robert Cranford for the properties of Wyndhill and Thorleys in Wethersfield.[4]
Alice and son John received a quitclaim dated 5 Feb 1484/85 from Robert Rochester and others for property in the hamlet of Blackmer in Wethersfield.[5] Alice and son John sold some property on the highway from Wethersfield to Braintree to John Herde Sr. and Walt Serle both of Great Bardfield on 20 Apr 1485.[6] Alice left a will on 11 Jul 1486. There are over a dozen properties mentioned in her will including Goldings, Lightwaters, Tregelotts, and Thorleys. Her Pasfield descendants at one time or another owned all these properties.

To be buried in churchyard at Wethersfield next to body of John Herward her husband. Leaves 6s.8d. to St Paul's Cathedral and 8 marks to the holy image of the Blessed Virgin Mary with tabernacle belonging to the same in Wethersfield church. Several bequests for masses. Bequests to sons Thomas, John and Richard. To John Cowper of Thaxted, writer, 6s.8d.; to Robert Rowchester, 10; to son Richard messuage called Goldyngs and land called 'Le Conynger', 'Lightwatre', 'Slofen', 'Nyghtingalie', 'Litilmomfields' and 'Willis', and messuage called Cowpers in Wethersfield. To son John, messuage in Finchingfield. To son Thomas, tenement called Russell, half an acre of pasture, parcel of 'Le Cotelersfen'. To John Seole junior of Great Bardfield, a garden in Great Bardfield. Mentions also Rowpitt, Brittans Munds, arable land called T[re]gelotts, Windhill, Franckelins fen, Thorley croft, Mochel Cokesfield, Litill Cokescroft, an acre of freehold meadow in Le Asshemed, and Cotelersmed.

Messuage called Goldyngs with garden, in Wethersfield abutting on Motonnyslane on the one part, and on the highway from Wethersfield to Braintree on the other, one head abutting on tenement of William Stamer lately of John Aleyn, and the other on tenement of Thomas Bolle lately of John Oldhalle, and all other lands and appurtenances in Wethersfield and blakemer which we held jointly with the said Alice for her use and which we had of the feoffment of John Herde, sen., and Walt. Serle of Gt. Bardfield as recited in deed dated 4 May 1485.
