"Near this place lie the remains of Elizabeth the wife of Henry Rowe of this parish Esq. She was the relict of the Right Honourable General William Stewart and daughter of Sir Rowland Alston of Odell, Bedfordshire Bart by the Honourable Temperance daughter of the Right Honourable Thomas Lord Crew of Stean, Northamptonshire.
Her personal virtues added lustre to her birth and she lived esteemed and died lamented by all that knew her on Friday May 21 1756. Also the remains of the said Henry Rowe who died on Monday 17 April 1769 aged 77."

Elizabeth next married Henry ROWE Esq of Epsom. [3050] [MRIN: 1028]. (Henry ROWE Esq of Epsom. [3050] was born about 1692, died on 17 Apr 1769 and was buried in Epsom SRY.)
