The Will of Susan Alston of Boxford Widow
Dated 22nd December 1738.
I give to Mary Bird wife of Simon Bird the Elder of Boxford, Malster, All those my Messuages or Tenements held by
Lease of King’s College in Cambridge lying in Boxford in the occupation of Joseph Deakes Edward Scofield Robert King
Widow Smith and Susan Lock Widow, which I shall die possessed of at the time of my Decease to the said Mary Bird,
She first paying all my Just Debts for her use without the Interruption or Hindrance of him the said Simon Bird and her only receipt shall stand good
I nominate and appoint the said Mary Bird Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament
Witnesses : Mary Browning Jermyn Moyle William Freeman.
Proved 16th December 1741 by the Executrix.
