This is the last Will and Testament of me Robert Baldwin and of Barham in the County of Suffolk Yeoman I appoint my son-in-law Richard Fenn of Barham aforesaid farmer and my friend William Wood of the same place farmer Executors and Trustees of this my Will I give and bequeath to my Wife Eliza absolutely all my household furniture linen and china earthenware money and securities for money and all other my personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever I authorise empower and direct my said Executors and Trustees as soon as conveniently can be after my decease to sell and dispose of all my Copyhold lands Hereditments and premises situate in Barham aforesaid and Henley in the County of Suffolk or in whatsoever parishes or places the same may be situate either by public auction or private contract or partly by the one means and partly by the other And after payment of the expenses of such sale I declare that my said Executors and Trustees do and shall stand and be possessed of the clear monies thence arising Upon trust to invest the same in a Post Office Savings Bank or on any Securities authorised by law for the time being for the investment of trust funds with power to vary the same for Securities of a like nature And do and shall pay the dividends interest and income thereof as and when the same shall become due to my said Wife or her assigns during her life And from and after her decease do and shall divide the capital of the said trust fund into three equal parts or shares and stand possessed thereof Upon the trusts following that is to say As to one of such third parties or shares Upon trust for and to be equally divided between such of the children of my daughter Frances late the wife of Richard Keen of Barham aforesaid labourer as shall be living at my decease and shall then have attained or shall thereafter attain the age of twenty one years And as to the remaining third part or share Upon trust for my daughter Susan but in case she shall die in my lifetime leaving her natural child Robert Baldwin living at my decease I give and bequeath such last mentioned part or share to such natural child absolutely on his attaining the age of twenty one years but in case he shall die under that age then I give and bequeath such share to my said executors and trustees upon the same or the like trusts as our hereinbefore declared of two thirds of the said trust for in favour of the said Eliza Fenn and the children of the said Frances Keane deceased And I declare that my said executors and trustees shall after the decease of my said wife be at liberty to apply the whole all such part as they shall think fit of the income of the share to which my grandchild or reputed grandchild of me being an infant shall or may for the time being be entitled in expectancy under this my Will for or towards his or her maintenance and education And I direct and declare that the rents and profits arising from the said Copyhold Hereditments from the time of my decease until the sale thereof shall from time to time (after payment thereof of the costs of fire insurance and other outgoings and repairs) be paid and applied in the same or the like manner in all respects as the annual income arising from the monies to be produced by the sale of such Hereditments would have been payable and applicable by virtue of the trusts hereinbefore contained if such sale had been made And I further directed declare that the receipts in writing of my said executors and trustees for the time being for any purchase moneys rents and profits or other trust monies to be received by them respectively by virtue of any of the trusts and powers respectively hereinbefore contained shall be valid and effectual discharges to the person or persons paying the same monies and that the person or persons taking such receipts shall not be answerable or accountable for the application of the same monies
And revoking all former Wills by me made I declare this only to be my last
In witness whereof I have signed my name at the foot or end hereof this eleventh day of May one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine.

This is a Codicil to my foregoing Will If my said wife shall desire to continue living in my present house at Barham and of such desire shall give my executors and trustees written notice within one month from my decease then and in such case I give and devise the same with the land and appurtenances to her for her life and I direct and in such case the trusts and directions for sale contained in my will shall be postponed until after my decease
in witness whereof I have signed my name here to this eleventh day of May one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine
