General Notes:
Lord Blayney was Colonel of the 91st Foot between 1760 and 1763. He held the office of Custos Rotulorum of County Monaghan between 1761 and 1775. He succeeded to the title of 9th Lord Blayney, Baron of Monaghan, co. Monaghan [I., 1621] on 29 September 1761. He held the office of Grand Master of the Freemasons between 1764 and 1767. He gained the rank of Major-General in 1765. He was Colonel of the 38th Foot between 1766 and 1775. He held the office of Grand Master of the Freemasons [Ireland] in 1768. He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1772. He died intestate and his estate was administered on 13 September 1777.
Cadwallader married Elizabeth TIPPING [13543] [MRIN: 4526], daughter of Thomas TIPPING [13544] and Sophia ALSTON [13545], on 22 Oct 1767.
