Jane his daughter writes of her father:
My father put his age up to join the British Navy and served during WW1, then in the Merchant Navy. He came ashore in Melbourne, and worked for his Uncle Kyrle on the Gladioli plantation until WW2 broke out and he joined the Australian Navy. He was the officer in charge of the sweep on the mine sweepers in the Pacific War, he also served in Papua New Guinea in command of a small vessel going up the Sepic River in Japanese infested territory.
After the war, he came ashore again, and after some years in Melbourne we moved to Brisbane for Medical reasons, He worked for many years at "Holden" car manufacturing company. Dad had some wonderful stories to tell.

Edward Russell Kyrle Money, had a notable gladioli growing business "Monomeath" at Mt Evelyn, Yarra Hills Victoria.
