General Notes:
Edward in 1789 aged 15 was apprenticed for 7 years to Joseph Adcock, a chemist located in Bishopsgate within. In December 1797 he was given "The Freedom of The City of London".
In 1805 he was practising as a chemist at 41 Bishopsgate Street Within, offering for sale "the genuine Otto of Roses, just imported from Turkey". Ref: The Complin's by Charles D. Complin.
