George Caulfeild was born circa 1545. He was the son of Alexander Caulfeild He married Martha Taverner , daughter of Richard Taverner and Margaret Lambert , circa 1576. He died in October 1603.
He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England , with a Doctorate. He held the office of Bencher of Gray's Inn in 1568. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Oxford. He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1581 entitled to practice as a barrister. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Chipping Wycombe from 1584 to 1585. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oxford from 1586 to 1587. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oxford from 1588 to 1589. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oxford in 1593. He held the office of Recorder of Oxford between 1596 and 1599. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oxford from 1597 to 1598. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Oxford in 1601.

George married Martha TAVERNER [14975] [MRIN: 5310] about 1576.
