In a vault near this spot are deposited the mortal remains of Mary Gataker, wife of Thomas Gataker, who died 4th March 1839 aged 92 years. This tablet is erected by her afflicted husband to commemorate the purity of her benevolence and true Christian charity and as an example to those who survive her.
