Colour Sergeant Thomas Kenna 239 of the 1st Battalion, 60th Regiment, Royal Rifles was discharged from the Army 25 Oct 1837 unfit for further service. He enlisted in Rochester 28 Feb 1825 age 14 and served almost 23 years. Overseas service included Portugal, Malta and the East Indies. His character & conduct was described as Most Exemplary. He had been awarded a Good Conduct Medal which carried a gratuity of £15.
