The question is, what are the correct names of the women in this image.

1. Upon the back of the framed images is the notation:
" Madam Pierre Raymond de Lagarde; b 8 Apr 1693 at Rotterdam; m. 1716; d 18 Jun 1768 in Lomdon; the daughter of Captain Jacque la Croze and his wife Susanne (nee Balaie) "
This is in the hand of Mrs Silver mother of Ian Silver (Ian Silvers Ancestral Tree - Ancestry 2019)

This image was published in a book "Auld Acquaintance" by Charles Gordon (1847 - 1937) 11th Marquis of Huntly. The image hung in his family home in Orton Hall

The researcher has taken the view that the image is of (Marie) Henriette de Rambouillet [26463]

Consequently the image notated Major Peter Raymond de Layarde must at this point remain uncertain - 2019

Marie married Louis CHEVALLEAU DE BOISRAGON Chevalier de la Chenaye [26462] [MRIN: 9507] on 21 Dec 1713 in Chapel Royal St James LND. (Louis CHEVALLEAU DE BOISRAGON Chevalier de la Chenaye [26462] was born in 1660 in St Maixant Poitou-Charentes FRA and died before 2 Apr 1730 in London.)
