Wolff v Vanderzee
This action involved Mr H. N. Vanderzee who loaned 600L to a Mr F E Tucker on the security of a brewery called Chalk Farm together with a tap and cigar shop in the parish of St Pancras. Tucker defaulted and Vanderzee sold the premises. It was alleged that Vanderzee was negligent in not obtaining the best price for the security. Vanderzee was found not guilty and awarded costs.
