Thomas SWAINE, Bachelor Faculty Office Feby 28th 1825 Appeared personally Thomas Swaine Esquire of the Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea in the County of Middlesex, a Bachelor, of the age of upwards of Twenty one Years, and prayed a licence for the Solemnization of Matrimony in the Parish Church of Saint Luke Chelsea aforesaid between him and Isabella Vanderzee of the Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea aforesaid a Spinster, also of the age of upwards of Twenty one Years, and made Oath that he believeth there is no Impediment of Kindred or Alliance, or of any other lawful Cause, nor any Suit commenced in any Ecclesiastical Court to bar or hinder the Proceeding of the said Matrimony, according to the Tenor of such Licence. And he further made Oath, that he the Appearer hath had his usual Place of Abode within the Parish of Saint Luke Chelsea for the Space of Fifteen Days last past. Thos. Thomas married Isabella VANDERZEE [6705] [MRIN: 3140], daughter of James VANDERZEE [1258] and Anne ACKLOM [6703], on 2 Mar 1825 in Chelsea St Lukes MDX. (Isabella VANDERZEE [6705] was born in 1796 in Essex and died on 3 Jan 1848 in Nayland Suffolk.). The cause of her death was cancer of the womb.
