1. Henry Martin Vesey Fitzgerald: Will, 4 Apr 1918, Hampshire. THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me HENRY MARTIN VESEY-FITZGERALD of Otterbourne Grange near Eastleigh in the County of Hants Esquire as follows I appoint my wife Frances Ella Vesey-Fitzgerald and Charles Henry Fuller of Rugby in the County of Warwick Gentleman to be the EXECUTORS of this my Will and I bequeath to the said Charles Henry Fuller the sum of one hundred pounds free of duty if he shall act in the proof of this my will and the administration of my estate I bequeath to my coachman Walter Astill the sum of two hundred pounds free of duty provided he shall be in my service at the time of my decease and I declare the said legacy shall vest in the said Walter Astill immediately on my decease but shall not be paid to him until the death of my said wife Frances Ella Vesey-Fitzgerald unless my said wife shall in writing expressly request my executors to pay such legacy to the said Walter Astill during her lifetime And I declare that no interest shall accrue on the said legacy until such request is made and then after the rate of five pounds per centum per annum from the receipt of such request I give devise appoint and bequeath all the rest of my property whatsoever and wheresoever of or to Which I shall at the time of my death be seised possessed or entitled or over which I shall at that time have any power of appointment or disposition by Will unto my said wife Frances Ella Vesey Fitzgerald absolutely subject to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I declare that my executor of my Will being a solicitor or other person engaged in any profession or business may be so employed and shall be entitled to charge and be paid all professional or other charges for any business or act done by him or his firm in connection with the trust including any act which an executor not being a solicitor or other person engaged as aforesaid could have done personally And lastly I revoke all former wills and codicils by me made IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunder set my hand this fourth day of April one thousand nine hundred and eighteen HENRY MARTIN VESEY FITZGERALD Signed by the said Henry Martin Vesey Fitzgerald the testator as his last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time and by us in his and each others presence W M H JACKSON Salisbury Solicitor H H CHEESEMAN His Clerk.
