My dear Edward How very kind of you to send me a copy of the family pedigree \endash the fruit of so much toil and trouble. I heard of it from Aunt Fanny to whom I paid a hurried morning visit Page 2 on the way home from a tour in France. Really I have been in possession of your gift for nearly a week but I got back with an overpowering cold and instead of being able to nurse it calmly I had my friend a House Mate Muriel Page 3 Morrison laid up with bad tonsillitis, so I have been so busy doing nurse and everything else between sneezes that you will I am forgive my delay in sending my most sincere thanks. I hear of you now and then thro' Arthur or David Page 4 or Margaret Rands when she has been able to get to Sandown. I hope soon to hear that she is better again. Willie never writes now \endash too busy I suppose \endash down here at the end of earth one loses sight of friends and relations. Therefore I all the more appreciate your kindness. With kind regards to Mrs Liveing Your affectionate Priscilla Torlesse.
