Emily visited New Zealand in 1884 with her aunts Priscilla and Frances. Took a trip by coach to Otaki, thru the Manawatu George and back via 90 mile bush to Wellington.

(Charles Henry HAMILTON [1761] was born on 9 Jul 1865 in Canterbury NZ, died on 5 Jun 1928 and was buried in Bromley Cemetery Christchurch.)
