Kensworth Register 1714
John Lord Snr., was instituted into ye vicarage of Kensworth by ye Right Rev Father in God Thomas Lord Bishop of Lincoln ye 27th day of January 1680 inducted by Edward Carter Vicar of Langley Regis ye 7th day of March 1680.
John Lord Jr was instituted into ye aforesaid vicarage by ye most Rev Father in God Thomas Lord Archbishop of Canterbury in ye vacancy of ye Lee of Lincoln ye 16th day of March 1704 inducted by John Byby curate of Flamstead ye 24 day of April 1705.
John Lord Snr., above written was a second time instituted into ye said vicarage by ye right Rev Father in God William ye Bishop of Lincoln ye . . . . Day of April 1714 and inducted by Edward Wake Rector of Whithamstead ye 10th day of June 1714 his son John Lord Jr aforesaid being presented ye instituted & inducted into ye Rectory of Toddington in the County of Bedford.
