Elizabeth resided at Ipswich. She is described in her Will dated 10 Sept 1736 as Elizabeth Alston the younger, spinster. She refers to property (tenements and farm) in Bramford in the tenure and possession of William Rivers which is left to her mother Elizabeth Alston. Other legatees include her sister Mrs June Coles and her sisters child Ann Elizabeth Coles and Mrs Christian Coleman of Ipswich spinster. Will proved PCC 19 May 1742 by her mother. She was a beneficiary under her Aunt Alice Alston's will dated 18 Sep 1694

1. Elizabeth Alston nee Shone: Will, 10 Sep 1736, Ipswich, SFK. The Will of Elizabeth Alston the younger of Ipswich, co. Suffolk, spinster. Dated 10 September, 1736. I give to my mother Mrs. Elizabeth Alston for her life, with remainder to my sister Mrs. Ann Coles and to her daughter Ann Elizabeth Coles, my Messuage and farm, and all my lands, tenements, and hereditaments in the Town of Bramford, co. Suffolk. I give L100 to my said sister Ann Coles on the death of my mother, the latter to have the interest of the same during her life. I give the further sum of L100 to my sister Ann and her daughter Ann Elizabeth on the death of Mrs. Christian Colman of Ipswich, spinster, the latter to have the interest of said L100 for her life. The sum of L300 to be put out at good interest by my executrix, any bequest to Ann Elizabeth Coles to be exclusive of the L100 agreed to be paid her by an Indenture made between my mother and me. The remainder of my estate, after payment of my debts, funeral charges, etc., to be equally divided between Ann Cole, Ann Elizabeth Coles, and Christian Coleman. I appoint my mother sole executrix and at her death I nominate my said sister Ann Coles and Christian Coleman executrixes. ELIZABETH ALSTON: Junior.
