General Notes:
William was born at and lived in St Kitts, it was said that he never left the Islands. He had considerable Estates worked by slaves as was the custom of the time. The French when in occupation of the Island had expelled many of the aboriginals from the estates and brought in Africans to cultivate the plantations.
However no one of the name Julius is recorded in the lists of inhabitants of St Kitts 11 Jan 1707/08 or Nevis 13 Mar 1707/08.

William Julius of St Kitts, born about 1695, had 3 sons, Caesar, William John, and John, president of St Kitts, baptised at Christchurch Nicola town, 18 April 1733/34, and 2 daughters, Fanny and Katharine. Surname of his wife "Ann Mary" and names of other children. Ref: Caribbeana page 48.

IGI, London records show Capt William Julius birth abt 1696 , marriage abt 1721 The birth record refers to a relative Henry Lindsey who may have registered it for the family in St Kitts. IGI, London records, shows the birth of several children which have been added to William's family, identified as sourced IGI.
Note in the Registers of St Thomas Basseterre that the 1760/61/62 Registers were damaged in the 1772 Hurrycane (sic) *
