On the 1 May 1764 a John Phipps of St George Basseterre merchant purchased a parcel of land situate lying and being in the Town of Old Road in the said Parish of Saint Thomas Middle Island in the Island of St Christopher for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred Pounds of current money of the said Island of Saint Christopher for and in consideration of the sum of Eight Hundred Pounds of current money of the said Island of Saint Christopher from Jedediah Kerie, Edward Peters, and John Mahon, Executors of the Estate of Christina Edmeads nee Kerie.
