Dr Forrest's Successor.
The Rev Ernest Augustus Eardley-Wilmot has accepted the living of St Jude's, South Kensington, in succession to Dr Forrest, recently appointed Dean of Worcester. Mr Eardley-Wilmot has been rector of Walcot, Bath, since 1886, and is a Prebendary of Wells Cathedral. He was vicar of Sherborne, Gloucestershire, from 1874 to 1882; domestic chaplain to the late Lord Sherborne from 1875 to 1883; vicar of St James, Tunbridge Wells, from 1882 to 1866.

Cathedral's Oldest Prebend.
The death occurred on Wednesday of the Rev Ernest A Eardley-Wilmot, MA, the oldest Prebend attached to Wells Cathedral. The late Prebendary was 84 years of age and was installed to the Prebendary of Wedmore 5th in Wells Cathedral in 1890. He was the fourth son of the late Canon E R Eardley-Wilmot, and a nephew of Sir J E Eardley-Wilmot. He was rector of Walcot, Bath, from 1886 to 1892

Death of Preb. E A Eardley-Wilmot.
A former rector of Walcot, Bath, the Rev Ernest Augustus Eardley-Wilmot, Prebendary of Wells Cathedral, died at his home at St Albans on Wednesday at the age of 84.
The fourth son of Canon E R Eardley-Wilmot and nephew of Sir J E Eardley-Wilmot, Bart, he became rector of Walcot in 1886. There he remained till 1892 when he was appointed vicar of St Jude's, South Kensington, on the nomination of a private patron
In 1890 the Bishop of Bath and Wells (Lord Arthur Hervey) had collated him to the Prebendary of Wedmore 5th, in Wells Cathedral, and at his death he was the senior of the Prebendary's.
Prebendary Eardley-Wilmot married first in 1875 Emily Dora, daughter of Prebendary Charles Holland, rector of Petworth; she died in 1897. He married, secondly, in 1906, Arthurina, youngest daughter of Major General Arthur Butcher, and cousin of Lord Danesfort and of the late Prof S H Butcher.
The Cathedral service will be at St Albans Cathedral on Saturday at 3 o'clock and the internment at St Albans Cemetery.

Funeral of Prebendary Eardley-Wilmot at St Albans Cathedral.
The funeral of Prebendary Ernest Augustus Eardley-Wilmot, a former Rector of Walcot, Bath, took place at St Albans Cathedral on Saturday. The Dean (the Very Rev E L Henderson) officiated, assisted by Canon H A Skelton, Canon A Mayhew, and the Rev J Mervyn Glass.
The family mourners were Mrs E A Eardley-Wilmot, Miss M C Eardley-Wilmot, Miss J M Eardley Wilmot, and Miss C Eardley-Wilmot (daughters), Dr Eardley Holland, Mr Edward and Mr Stephen Eardley-Wilmot (nephews), Mr R E Lambert (cousin), Miss Packer, Miss Parkin and Nurse Drew.
Among others present were:
