This is the last will and testament of me Elizabeth Alston of Brampton in the county of Huntingdon widow of the late Sir John Alston Baronet. I give and bequeath all the goods, chattels, and effects, and all other the personal estate whatsoever which I may be possessed of at the time of my decease unto my daughter Catharine Elizabeth Alston to hold to her, her executors, administrators, and assignsfor her own use and I appoint her sole executrix of this my will in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirty first day of January one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine. Signed, sealed, published, and declared by the said Elizabeth Alston as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses. Proved at London the 16th Sept. 1852 before the worshipful William Robinson Doctor of Laws and surrogate by the oath of Catharine Elizabeth Alston spinster the daughter the sole executrix to whom admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
