of Catherine Elizabeth Alston spinster of 26 Montague St Portman Sq, London.
Friend Alicia Champigue Hiusey spinster Sole Executrix.
To Marianne Louisa Messiter wife of Thomas Messiter of Harwich gold seal bearing the Alston arm a silver snuff box with the initials I A and the bloody hand engraved thereon, also a miniature of my late father and an agate set in antique gold.

This is the last will and testament of me Catherine Elizabeth Alston spinster of twenty six Montagu Street Portman Square London as follows, that is to say I appoint my friend Alicia Champigue Rinsey spinster of twenty six Montagu Street Portman Square aforesaid the sole trustee and executrix of this my will.
I give and bequeath to Marianne Louisa Messitor the wife of Thomas Messitor Esquire of Burwick House in the county of Somerset my gold and carnelian seal bearing the Alston arms also a silver snuff box with the initials J. A. and the bloody hand engraved thereon also a miniature of my late father and an agate toothpick or etui set in antique gold
All the rest, residue, and remainder of my property of whatever kind and wherever places after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath unto the aforesaid Alicia Champigue Rincey for her sole and separate use and I do hereby declare this to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I the said Catherine Elizabeth Alston the testatrix have set my hand this thirtieth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty one.

Signed, published, and declared by the said Catherine Elizabeth Alston the testatrix as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses the interlineation and obliteration above having been first made.
