Research Notes:
When Moses the father died in 1746, he bequeathed lands and money to his three children Moses, Elizabeth and Amelia. Elizabeth was baptised in 1710. In 1711 and 1712 two boys called Moses were born and both died in the same year. The baptisms were on the cusp of the church books becoming full and a new book being started in 1711. the births of the two Moses sons were in both books. In 1712 baptisms were registered, then the page is torn out for the years 1713 and 1714. The fact that Moses and Amelia existed was as mentioned in the will, leave the only conclusion that they were born in 1713 nd 1714. baptisms were then registered 1715 upward. It looks like Moses was determined to get an heir named Moses, so I assume Amelia was born first them. So recapping Moses and Elizabeth had (in this order), Elizabeth(1710),Moses(1711), Moses(1712), Amelia(1713), Moses(1714), Freeman(1719), Susanna(1722) (thats 7) Mother probably died of exhaustion!! and it explains why Freeman held Elizabeth in such high esteem in his will, she was probably bringing all the children up from a very young age , her mother must have been more in bed than out. (The only time space for Amelia and Moses was 1713 and 1714 they are the only missing pages in the book.) (all the other pages are very clearly filled in, and no Alstons among them.)
