Honolulu Star bulletin - Obituaries Sunday, July 22, 2001 Thomas Joseph Kawaiaulu Ka'ohiwaiwai Nahiwa, 75, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii County Police Department lieutenant, died Tuesday in the Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kamuela, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Lillian Piilani Stevens Nahiwa; sons Robert, Orlando and Richard Stevens; daughters Nora Kualii, Lauren Stevens and Molly Wolthius; sisters Jane Kakelaka, Emmaline Foster, Blossom Kelii and Lydia Haena; 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Services: 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Hilo Stake Center, 1373 Kilauea Ave. Call after 4 p.m. Private inturnment at a later date. Casual attire.
