  General Notes:

After the death of her husband Sarah moved to Bath and later to Ghent in Belgium (as it was cheaper) only returning to England when her children's education was finished around 1880.

She first lived in Somerset before settling in Budleigh Salterton around 1890, by this time her 3 boys had left home to make their own lives.
