Charles Frederick COMPLIN [20880]

  General Notes:

Charles attended Merchant Taylors' School in London, articled with a firm of engineers and architects and left for Canada in 1862 at age 22. Here he met Lucy Skey who was visiting her uncle. The couple returned to England for their wedding on June 4, 1867 at Twigworth Church. They settled in London Ontario where they had 13 children, 5 of the six daughters never married.
Charles is recorded as a farmer in the Canadian 1871 Census
Charles was well respected in his community and active in good works, particularly supporting schooling.
