Will Diepatris Alston - 1705-1725
IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN This twenty second day of July in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty Five and in the eleventh years of the reign of Our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith I Diepatris Alston of the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields in the County of Middlesex Spinster do Make and Declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and forms following. That is to say I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God Creator and giver of all things And my body decently buried at the discretion of my executors here after named in sure hopes. . . . . it again. . . . . general. . . . . the last day. And as to goods it hath please God to bless me with I dispose of in the manner following as to say.
IMPRIMUS After my funeral charges be paid and my just debts paid I give and bequeath unto my loving sister Elizabeth Alston and my loving sister Sofia Alston all such sum or sums of money now remaining in the hands of my brother Sir Evelyn Alston Baronet or in the hands of any other person or in. . . . . together with all my wearing apparel linen woollen with all the other things belonging or appurtaining to equally divided between my 2 sisters share and share alike
ITEM I do hereby appoint my master Richard Emmet of the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields in the County of Middlesex affore . . . . . to be my true and lawful executor of this my last will and testament and do desire he may repaid all charges. . . . . account of my sickness or burial or any of money afore mentioned other debts due from ins or outs of such sum or sums
And further I do hereby revoke and make void all former wills legacies or executors whatsoever by me made before the date hereof and I do declare this to be me last will and testament.
